Formerly a car repair shop, this 995 SF garage was completely renovated into a 3 bed / 2 bath house with a large living space that seamlessly transitions to an outdoor patio and garden.  Wanting a livable house that would be easy to short term rent during periods of working from abroad, the house was designed with a colorful minimalist aesthetic focusing on hand crafted natural materials that makes one feel immediately at home.  Every element—from doors and windows to cabinets, concrete countertops, and custom lighting—was designed and fabricated in-house by Density Designed to reflect a holistic approach to craft and sustainability.
